英語學習環境其實就是指學生眼睛看到，耳朵聽到的和嘴里說的盡可能是英語。我去的學校，內部臺階上是英語單詞與句子，班級的門牌、走廊窗戶上、黑板的左上角的英語格言都是英漢雙語，每個教室后的墻報上也都設有豐富多彩的英語內容，比如一些西方節日的介紹等等。上下課的廣播指令也都是英語。英語教師在課堂上也基本是英語授課，像一年級的學生可能聽懂的比較少，但他們利用手勢這樣的肢體語言讓生理解，而且上下課打招呼和道別也讓學生說英語?？梢哉f校園內隨時、隨地、隨處都能感受到英語，帶動學生在校園學習中主動學習英語，形成了良好的校園環境。最讓我印象深刻的是教室內設置英語角，內容是把新學的單詞或句型板書到英語角內，即使英語課上完，學生一抬頭就可看見今天所學，潛移默化中也讓學生又復習了一遍，增強學生認讀意識。
二、教具的充分利用及開發
我注意到，他們學校的老師不但重視學校所配置學具的使用，他們還有意識地自己動手去做一些簡單的教具以輔助課堂教學。通過學具教具的制作和使用，可以把抽象的書本知識形象化、具體化，增強學生對教學內容的感知，使學生在直接經驗基礎上學懂書本知識，重要的是能夠提高學生的學習興趣，調動他們的學習積極性，從而使教學效果更佳。
最后，PPT課件的應用與制作。小學英語教材的'一大特點就是貼近生活，課文圖片多。但長期下來，學生對圖片已經是產生了“審美疲勞”了， 所以他們在教學時就想出了一些新的點子和花樣來進行教學，其中多媒體教學就是一種很好的教學手段，精美的課件能夠吸引學生眼球，可以化靜為動、化抽象為具體，能提出開放性的問題，設計巧妙，同時還能激發學生更強烈的參與意識，可以為學生主動學習提供開放的活動環境，提高課堂效率。
三、課外布置朗讀任務
我發現他們學校學生的口語水平普遍較高，絕大多數學生可以熟練地朗讀課文，甚至可以流利地背誦課文。通過私下和老師們交流才知道，他們特別重視朗讀作業的布置，還會時常檢查學生的認讀情況，可以說一節課下來大部分時間全用在聽音認讀上，讓學生讀時注重模仿語音語調，培養了語感。教師安排學生分層朗讀，即先讓英語小組長讀給老師聽，再讓大部分學生分組讀給組長聽。當然，對于一些后進生，老師會親自監督。與此同時，課外變換不同的獎勵方式來鼓勵學生堅持每天聽、讀、說英語及家長簽字，長期堅持下來，學生認讀能力和語感就會有所增強，對英語自然不再畏懼。
四、創設“表演情境”
針對“為用而學，在用中學，學了就用”的原則，并結合語言是一種交際工具，在教學中，充分調動學生學習英語的積極性，培養和保持他們學習英語的興趣，使學生在生活化的教學場景中學習、使用語言。他們經常創設各種不同的表演情境，不但給學生提供了表演的機會，而且讓學生在情境中更好的練習本課的知識點，將難點簡易化，并且與生活相結合，孩子能記的更牢固，并且能更好的運用。
五、注重小組競賽
小組競賽可實現組內成員間的合作學習，培養合作精神，成員間同舟共濟，幫助別人也是幫助自己。他們學校的分組標準多種多樣有：男女生pk；按座位分組pk；然后遵循“組內異質、組間同質”的原則分組pk。其中，我認為第三種分組效果最好，這樣的分組形式能夠形成小組間的制約力和互助力，優秀學生可以幫助和監督后進生，小組間差異性不大，在pk中也形成了強大的競爭力。
課堂競賽盡可能讓學生都參與。競賽貫穿英語教學全過程，他們每節課都安排若干項競賽內容并安排在教學過程的不同階段進行，同時按照知識的難易程度顧及高中低不同程度學生的參與，達到全班同學平衡發展的目的。
競賽評判和記分方法固定化。課前老師在黑板上寫上各組名稱。執行過程為：在每節課的小組pk中，由老師和全班學生共同充當裁判，回答正確就會為本組得到一份，課程結束后統計宣布獲勝組。這樣提高了學生的學習積極性。
總而言之，作為小學英語教師，必須具有扎實的基本功及駕馭課堂的能力，說起來簡單做起來難。這就要求我們必須不斷學習，不斷提升自身的素質，此次的研修就了給我提供了一次不可多得的機會。老師們精彩的課堂，讓我看到了自己的不足。在今后的教學中我一定多學習，多鉆研，認真備好、上好每節課，同時在課后做好反思，努力提高自身的業務水平。
